My Big Day loves building lasting relationships with all of our clients, so it was extra special when one of our favorites, Nancy Haboush, asked for our help with another beautiful bridal shower – this time for her God-Daughter, Ashley!
Once again, set in her beautiful back-yard, Nancy chose to offer a variety of brunch treats, drinks, and delightful décor. The champagne was flowing, as were the Mimosas and Bloody Mary drinks! Fresh Plate Catering created a stunning and tasty display of delicious brunch offerings such as donut kabobs, egg pinwheels and potatoes, Bloody Mary Shooters with Shrimp, and a colorful fruit salad. Starlight Dessert Bar brought back their magical assortments of finger desserts and treats. All of Nancy’s guests enjoyed brunch while visiting with each other and playing bridal shower games. 
 Nancy’s God-Daughter, Ashley, spent the late morning surrounded by women and family members who showered her with gifts, advice, and love. We were so excited to once again be part of such a special moment, and we wish Ashley and her fiancé all the best in their upcoming wedding!

Susan is the owner of Bliss Couture Design, and came up with a lovely theme for her baby shower, "Ready to Hatch." Below is a photo of her invitation.  Susan was glowing in a room filled with loved ones. Since this baby shower was a single shower for all co-workers, relatives and friends, it was quite large. We hosted it at a rustic venue in Rochester Hills Michigan, Camp Ticonderoga. The setting was perfect for an About to Hatch theme! Guests enjoyed a brunch buffet and had plenty to see and do. With the genders of the babies still unknown, we played a little guessing game. Guests were urged to put berries in their beverage which represent the genders of the babies they are guessing. 2 raspberries for 2 girls, 2 blueberries for 2 boys and 1 of each for both!
Each guest was given favors of blue bird egg soaps, hand-crafted in Colorado. They received a birds nest cupcake from a local Michigan bakery, and a card urging them to fill out "Wishes for Baby" which we made into a photobook for mom and dad. The free printable of the bird - nest wishes for baby template is below. 
The decorations embraced the rustic theme of the venue and supported the bird/nest/hatch theme of the baby shower.
Mom and dad to be were very happy with all the support and love in the room... and they announced the gender of their babies to all who attended! What a fun gender reveal surprise for grandmas!

 So often the focus of a wedding is on the bride. The dress... hair... make-up.... flowers... the ring.... Of course we focus on her, she has so many options and just ONE DAY to put it all out there. This is the day she's been waiting for. Well, so has he. I recently came across a website that celebrates the dude in your life... the groom. The website is focused on men only and it's called 'The MAN Registry.' Brilliant! This one site allows you to create a registry for the groom, shop the registry, research places for bachelor parties and the like, and even do your own search for wedding vendors in your area. The Man Registry was created in 2007, but I only just found it. Where have I been? If you haven't checked it out yet, I highly recommend you get on it! The Man Registry. com Already married?
