The President of My Big Day, Christine Kovacs Forster, lives and breathes laughter. Entertaining people and being entertained is what simply moves her. She got the event planning bug in 6th grade... and it has grown from there! (just ask her about her early event experiences)
My BIG Day LLC was formed in 2006 after Christine received constant requests to help businesses with their marketing, and party planning for her friends' life events. In addition to being contracted for large business functions, weddings, and community events, My Big Day has also created a number of 'signature events' that we own and fully operate. These events have grown to 500+ person affairs.
After 20+ years in media and event planning, today her passion lies in creating events for all to enjoy and campaigns that elevate businesses and non-profits. Christine serves on numerous event and marketing committees and boards for local non-profits. Giving back is a priority both personally and professionally.
My Big Day clients recognize Christine as their fearless partner who runs each event with a walkie-talkie, clipboard, and numerous spreadsheets. "Organized" is an understatement.
The event business is a relationship business, and Christine is known for being a connector in the community, and ultimately a friend to everyone she meets! She and her team pride themselves on extraordinary service and original events.

For over six years, Carrie has been an integral part of the My Big Day team. Her time with My Big Day started as an event assistant and intern, and has brought her to her role today, as a company executive bridging roles in both event management and marketing. She has had the opportunity to work on a variety of events - from weddings, fundraisers, and parties to large scale conferences, concerts, and community events. Her involvement with planning events from start to finish, and helping Christine with the basics of running a small business, inspired Carrie to continue her education in pursuit of a Masters in Business Administration and Marketing.
Focus on community and building strong relationships are integral parts of My Big Day’s mission and promise to clients, and these values are what drew Carrie to My Big Day. Carrie believes that strong and open relationships are the foundation for success - for events, campaigns, and personal goals. She believes that connections - not only with individual clients - but throughout the community- are important. My Big Day lives to connect, and it is through these connections that Carrie has achieved personal and professional growth, as well as life-long and life-changing relationships.
When she is not working events or planning marketing campaigns, Carrie enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Some of her favorite activities include - hiking and camping in beautiful Colorado, traveling, attending live concerts, creating and listening to music, Broadway musicals, game nights with friends, and cuddling on the couch binge watching movies and Netflix with her cat, Hamilton. She is a sucker for Pinterest projects, is passionate about politics, has aspirations to finish all the books she has ever purchased, and is a proud NPR nerd.
“I am thankful for the guidance and support that I have received from my mentor, Christine (President and owner of My Big Day), and I am blessed to work with such a talented team of women. I have enjoyed watching My Big Day grow, change, and adapt throughout the years. I am excited to see what the future holds for My Big Day, and I appreciate that I get to be a part of it all!”
