My Big Day uses a great resource for researching and posting craft shows. Mile High on the Cheap is a website that allows you to research and list holiday shows up and down the front range. All listings are for FREE fair, unless otherwise indicated. From Castle Rock to Fort Collins, you can find a comprehensive list for every craft fair. You'll even find holiday festivals at schools, churches, small bazaars, and HUGE extravaganzas! Shop for unusual gifts, many handmade by local artists and artisans, at upcoming holiday arts and crafts shows, festivals and bazaars. Because you usually buy directly from the creators, prices are reasonable — and sometimes downright bargains. As a self-proclaimed socialite, I'm always looking to find what's going on around town. My Big Day specializes in creative events. But when we're not planning events, we're attending them! The summer is heating up, and there is so much to do! If you are anything like me, you enjoy finding unique gifts for loved ones that say, "I put some thought into this purchase." I start my holiday shopping FAR in advance. With constant reminders about good deals, I find myself purchasing thoughtfully as far as 6 months out. Groupon, Living Social, Deal Chicken, Seize the Deal... they all have something of value to offer. You just have to do your research. I have purchased facials, dinner certificates, headphones, hot rollers, car detailing, earrings, photography packages and more! I willingly sign up for the alerts, and first thing in the morning I have a handful of deals to rifle through.  For those who appreciate high fashion at discount prices, you are most likely already aware of the designer sale alerts you can register for. Ideeli, Gilt, HauteLook, and MyHabit, are just a few to name. Thanks to the daily alerts I receive from these sites, my mom and sister have received some fabulous designer clothing and jewelry. The stockings will be filled with more this year! Santa is very good to my family and friends!  Now that we are in full-swing of the holiday season, the craft shows are popping up left and right! For TRULY unique gifts, you can always go for handmade goodies from local artisans and crafters. With so many craft shows going on, I can only list a few, but here you go:
