The mission of MBD Marketing and Events is to bring highly curated and collaborative events and business strategies to Northern Colorado. We support businesses and individuals in the growth of their ideas, events, and marketing strategies. Every year, we support a number of non-profits doing BIG things in our community. Our 3 areas of focus are Communication, Experiences and Community. In November and December you can see how important our 3rd area of focus is to our entire team. Being influencers in the area of charitable giving and making a difference is a top priority for us as humans (the MBD team). Below are some non-profits in Northern Colorado we encourage you to support.  Partners (Youth Mentoring) The need is real--youth are facing unprecedented mental health challenges and lack connection. Partners creates meaningful relationships and supportive community through mentoring and prevention education programs. Please invest in supporting Northern Colorado Youth by donating to their Spark Campaign. LINK  The Family Center/ La Familia (Family Support Services) Working alongside diverse families we provide high quality childcare and supportive services, with an emphasis on cultural attunement with the Latinx community. This work is done with an explicit vision of creating a community in which all families are safe, supported, and thriving. Please invest in Northern Colorado families by donating to their PLAY IT FORWARD Campaign. LINK  Dementia Together At Dementia Together, we cultivate joy while building stronger connections – for those living with dementia, their care partners, and the community. We offer our family/care partner education and life enrichment programming at no charge to participants so that cost is never a barrier to connection and support. Please consider donating to their end of year campaign, FRIENDS GIVE HOPE. LINK  No DUI Larimer No DUI Larimer is a campaign encouraging the public to “Make the Call” to end impaired driving in our community. Make the Call to get a safe ride home; Make the Call about whether you should get behind the wheel, and Make the Call to report suspected impaired drivers. Driving under the influence IS an emergency--please call 911 if you see someone that you suspect is driving impaired. Larimer County is ranked #4 of all counties in Colorado with highest number of DUIs. Please consider supporting our efforts in educating the public about DUIs and supporting our youth in healthy decision making. LINK  Alianza NORCO Alianza NORCO is a non-profit organization formed largely by immigrants from our northern Colorado community. In partnership with multi-ethnic allies and pro-immigrant groups, our goal is to break down the obstacles we face as immigrants and empower our families and communities to change the systems that oppress us. Alianza NORCO provides key services, civic education, leadership development and community organizing for immigrant communities in northern Colorado. We do this by providing access to Know Your Rights training, Rapid Response training, civic engagement, immigration law training and SB-251 licenses; by connecting under-served community members to resources in our city and throughout Colorado; and by informing, supporting and promoting humane immigration policies through workshops, partnerships and civic action. Please consider supporting this amazing organization. LINK  We are approaching the end of 2020, and that means it’s almost time to launch The Family Center’s annual Play it Forward year-end campaign. My Big Day has been proud to support this amazing non-profit and help lead their fundraising efforts! If you’re familiar with The Family Center/La Familia, you know our goal in an average year is to raise at least $50,000 for families. This year has not been an average year. The needs of our community are greater than ever. Larimer County’s childcare assistance program has now been closed for three years due to lack of funding. And, if you received our Play it Forward 2020 letter, you know the pandemic has not slowed us down - in fact, it has only increased the needs of families in our community.  Here are some of TFC’s 2020 achievements so far, by the numbers:
 Our goal for this year’s Play it Forward event is to raise $80,000. Here are some examples of how far your donation can go:
 Did you know that your donations to TFC/La Familia also qualify for Colorado’s Child Care Contribution Tax Credit? This means that 50% of your income comes right off your taxable income. If you donate $100 to our Play it Forward campaign, your net out-of-pocket cost is just $50 - for a $200 donation after donor matching. You can donate to Play it Forward easily online HERE. Loveland Drive-In Launches June 5 Bringing Six Weeks of Classic and Family Favorite Movies Tickets go on sale June 3 for the pop-up experience to benefit Thompson Education Foundation LOVELAND, Colo. - May 29, 2020 - My Big Day Marketing and Events along with partners Thompson Education Foundation (TEF), Visit Loveland, and Rythm EFX have launched a pop-up Loveland Drive-In fundraiser. The drive-in runs June 5 through July 12 in the north lot of The Outlets at Loveland. Tickets go on sale June 3 and are a suggested donation of $20. Drive-In details - how it works:
The ability to provide daytime shows comes with innovative LED wall technology from Rythm EFX that is also used in large event centers such as Fiddlers Green Amphitheater and many outdoor festivals for all-day events. Unlike video projection, LED wall is capable of competing with the sun. Their Mission Statement: Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic is dedicated to the well-being of all cats and dogs in our community with emphasis on preventing pet overpopulation and on the sheltering and placement of surrendered or abandoned cats into loving, permanent homes.  We encourage any of our cat-loving supporters to join us in supporting the FCCRSNC! 3 out of 5 of the My Big Day gals are cat parents. 5 out of 5 of us love giving back to pet charities! Giving back to the communities we live in is incredibly important to the My Big Day Team. Each signature event we host has a non-profit beneficiary. For our Sloshball Tournament, My Big Day has chosen the Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic. A portion of all proceeds from this tournament will go directly to support this wonderful rescue!
My Big Day was honored to be part of the Annual Wags to Wishes Hoedown Gala for Denkai Animal Sanctuary. Not only are we pet lovers, we are long-time volunteers and supporters for this pet shelter. As supporters, My Big Day provided the table decor for the fundraiser. We are happy to announce that the fundraiser raised over $13,000 for shelter pets in Northern Colorado!
