Giving back to the communities we live in is incredibly important to the My Big Day Team.
Each signature event we host has a non-profit beneficiary. For our Sloshball Tournament, My Big Day has chosen the Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic. A portion of all proceeds from this tournament will go directly to support this wonderful rescue!
It's no secret that My Big Day has been in love with this space for years and years. Once the Stonehouse Grill, then the Beach House Grill, the current business- The Mainline, is an incredible place to host a party in Old Town Fort Collins, CO! My Big Day has hosted a number of our own signature events in this space (Easter Keg Hunt, Festivus, NoCo Boos & Booze, Birthday parties, showers & more) -- and now the Mainline is offering their space to brides and grooms! As a venue with one of the only rooftop patios in Old Town Fort Collins, you'll find this space is not only versatile, but highly desirable because of its strong features. The 'treehouse' space upstairs is perfect for private parties. The metal 'trees' and modern/rustic mix of decor make it flexible no matter what your theme! The Mainline can work with a large number of group sizes. The treehouse can accommodate up to 150 reception style, and 80 seated. The patio makes a great space for a ceremony as well! by Randi Juric My Big Day operates with the purpose of keeping adults Young At Heart. We never really grow up. We only learn how to act in public. If we don’t do wild things when we are young, we’d never have anything to smile about when we get older. One of our favorite quotes is “You are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream” – C.S. Lewis. Though we may age physically our hearts still feel our youth. Life today is all about being on the go, move quicker or talk faster. We don’t make much time to slow down and enjoy the moment. Next time your day is getting ahead of you take a moment to stop and do something spontaneous and fun. Text silly faces to someone, go to that concert you feel like passing up because you have to work in the morning. Let a stranger tell you a funny joke. Take a moment to look in the paper or online and see what is happening around you instead of being rushed through the day. You never know who you might meet or what great moment could be passing you by. Silliness and spontaneity keep us as young as we ever were or hoped to be. Being young at heart is what keeps everyday new and filled with surprises. Life won’t ever get dull if you hold onto your youth. Remember to keep making silly memories every day to stay young at heart!
