Q: What skill level do I need to be at to participate?
A: All skill levels are welcome. If you have ever tried an escape room, participated in our Easter Keg Hunt, used a GPS, or tried a minute to win it challenge - or ever WANTED to --- this is for you! If you love watching the Amazing Race, you'll dig this! Q: How far will we be driving? A: All clues and challenges will be in Northern Colorado. Q: Do I need to know Loveland / Fort Collins / Greeley well to have a chance at winning? A: Absolutely not. Your problem solving ability, collaborative team, ability to use a smart phone, and a good GPS are all you need! Q: Can I bring the kids? A: You could, but this would probably make a better adult team activity or date night. Q: How long will it take? A: We can only estimate at this point, depending on your teamwork and local traffic. You can plan on taking about 2-3 hours. We've mapped the route out, and just the driving will take 2 hours. Most clues will be solved while you drive. The challenges will take an unknown amount of time depending on skill/luck! Q: What are the team stipulations? A: Your entire team must fit in ONE vehicle, and every player must have a seat belt. Your vehicle must be street legal. Q: What happens at kick-off? A: At kick-off we confirm your team count, go through the rules and expectations. It will only take about 15-30 minutes. Be sure to be on time! Q: What happens at the end? A: We will be waiting for you at a secret ending point (your final stop). We will cheer as teams arrive, and award prizes. Teams are welcome to stay and dine, or head out after the event is over. Q: What do we need to bring? A: A car, a GPS, a smartphone, wear comfortable shoes/clothing, have cash on you for silly purchases as part of a couple clues! Some water and snacks might not be a bad idea either. Q: Will this be a running or super active scavenger hunt? A: No. There will be some physical challenges (picture having to bowl a strike as fast as you can), but not everyone has to complete each challenge. Some parts of the road rally will simply be solving clues. Other parts you will be 'hunting' for your clue. And in some cases you'll be completing a challenge. Q: Should our team dress up? A: You may notice that most of our community events include costumes! We always welcome spirited teams, so feel free to dress in costume, or in coordinating outfits. Bring on the fun! Q: Should we have a designated driver? A: You can if you like. For some clues you can leave the driver in the car - waiting for your team to find your clue. At other times the entire team will want to be present. Q: Do I have to watch the Amazing Race to really get how the game works? A: No. In fact, we are not trying to duplicate the Amazing Race. We have our own formula for creating scavenger hunts, that we find is perfect for all adults and abilities. Our Easter Keg Hunt, Amazing Race and Minute to Win It are all examples of elements that make up this game.
