A Breathtaking Breckenridge Wedding

Jamie & Elliott are arguably one of the sweetest couples that My Big Day has had the pleasure of working with! Their big day was relaxed, planned, and organized, and it allowed them to focus on this special time with their friends and family.

A lot of Jamie & Elliott’s love story has taken place in the mountains of Colorado, so it was appropriate that they got to celebrate their love at a beautiful property in Breckenridge. The gorgeous fall foliage provided a stunning background for the ceremony, and the light snow-fall throughout the afternoon offered a sparkly touch to it all.

The afternoon ceremony was followed by a generous cocktail hour with special Colorado brews hand-picked by the bride and groom. Dinner was provided by a wood-fired pizza truck, Basic Kneads Pizza, with smores and cookies for dessert. There was dancing, love, and laughter throughout the personalized party, and our My Big Day team was excited to be a part of it all!

we quickly figured out that these two wanted their out-of-town guests to enjoy a true mountain experience, and that they wanted to P-A-R-T-Y!!!! Mission accomplished!

A "Blush & Bashful" Wedding

My Big Day was honored to be a part of Dave & Amanda's BIG DAY! We worked with this couple for nearly a year on their wedding plans. Their sweetness was contagious!

When we finally narrowed down the colors Amanda pictured for her reception, she decided on shades of pink. Of course, we immediately thought of the movie, "Steel Magnolias." We called this the "Blush and Bashful" wedding!

Dave & Amanda's wedding day was very traditional. They said their vows in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greeley, CO. We then went to the lovely Brookside Gardens in Berthoud, CO for the reception. While it was the hottest day of the summer, Amanda and Dave remained cool - completely in love and glowing as they were surrounded by their closest friends and family.

At the end of the day, a rainbow appeared just in time for photos!
