My Big Day was proud to yet again put on the corporate conference for one of our favorite clients! They offer a day of advice, motivation and empowerment to all of their employees. We hosted amazing speakers this year who left our 300+ guests feeling refreshed and revived! Our blog has been neglected for a little while as we are still in the thick of wedding season (along with some corporate events and regular party planning)! Our 1st Annual NoCo Road Rally sold out last year, and we are so glad that participants loved this creative event! Tickets go on sale soon for our 2nd Annual NoCo Road Rally, which will be held on June 23rd, 2018.  A road rally is a kind of motorized sport. Similar to "The Amazing Race," it is a competition of accuracy not speed. Participants are sent out in teams, with a goal of navigating the course from start to finish while solving clues and completing challenges along the way - then arriving at the final destination first. Our road rally scavenger hunt requires the driver and their team to decode clues while still maintaining the most efficient travel time possible. Road Rally's (or sometimes called car rally) scavenger hunts have been celebrated across America for years and years. Participants are given clues about where to start, and they must solve a clue or complete a puzzle at every stage along the way. There are many variations of a Road Rally, and My Big Day has YEARS of experience putting on fun scavenger hunts. We know you'll have a good time! This year the NoCo Road Rally is in Loveland. Recently the My Big Day team went on an all day site visit with our friends at the Boulder CVB to get caught up on all the new, exciting venues in Boulder, Colorado. We traveled around town in style in their Volkswagon bus! While the day offered some weather surprises, our hosts, Angela and Fig made for great company!!!!  We started our day with a visit at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Boulder & Hilton Garden Inn Boulder. We loved both of these spaces - very fresh, clean and contemporary. Our team noticed all the natural light they offered, and amazing art! Groups large and small will love the variety of meeting and conference space now available - and at multiple properties so close to each other! Our favorite features:

 Our next stop was in Downtown Boulder, the amazing Rembrandt Yard. Not only is the Rembrandt Yard an art gallery, but it is an event space that offers so many unique features. With 2 levels, wood floors and windows that look out on downtown Boulder, this space can be anything you dream it to be. Our favorite features:
We cannot thank our Boulder CVB hosts enough for spending an entire day with the My Big Day team, arranging so many tours, and for driving us around in their bus!  The Christmas spirit was extended into early January with Blue’s holiday party, built around the storyline from the classic holiday tale - A Christmas Story! Guests were transported back to a simpler time with specialized photobooth backdrops, food, and decor reminiscent of Ralphie’s childhood home in the 1950’s. The Marriott Fort Collins hosted us again and tables were decorated with kitchen colanders in honor of Mother Parker’s holiday culinary feats, Red Ryder BB guns, and of course, the famous “Fragile” Leg Lamps. The only thing missing was a bar serving large glasses of Ovaltine! (Note - there were three open bars for the guests to imbibe from!)
 The evening was full of fellowship between all the various bank branches, company recognitions and awards, and of course dancing! Music and emceeing was provided by our favorite entertainer - DJ Kaaos! Activities also included a costume contest, and door prize drawings for all of the table centerpieces. 
Blue Federal Credit Union is one of our favorite clients to work with, and we were once again pleased to be part of the planning for their always fun company holiday party!
